Glossary
Affinity The demon can start with up to three skills of its affinity's type.
Ailments A blanket term for mind, nerve, and curse skills.
Destroy A blanket term for skills that strike the target or targets dead instantly.
Drain The demon is healed by skills of this type.
Immune The demon cannot be affected by skills of this type.
Magic A blanket term for fire, ice, force, and lightning skills.
Reflect The demon reflects skills of this type back to the caster.
Resist Skills of this type are less effective against the demon.
Start The demon automatically starts with this skill.
Tier The demon's starting tier.
Weak Skills of this type are more effective against the demon.

Formless, base demons. Fouls are normally not especially dangerous, but their crude forms and generally limited intelligence make them difficult demons with whom to negotiate.

Affinity: Curse
A primitive monster with a viscous body. There are various theories as to its origin but it is still under debate. Slimes are said to compulsively collect shiny objects.

A cursed soul that could not ascend to Heaven. Although some may harbor evil intent, they cannot interact easily with the living, and are considered weak.

A reddish amorphous jelly-like creature. Blobs smother and consume matter so that they can grow, and it is said the only way a Blob can be stopped is to freeze it.

The materialization of a waking dream. Nightmares are said to be created by night demons, who were called “mara” or “mare,” hence the name.

Start: Life Drain
A quivering mass of malevolent intent and emotion that failed to become a true demon. With no direction or meaning, these creatures of pure hate spend all their time eating unwary humans so that they may grow stronger.

A dark and formless apparition that is drawn to those that are nearing the end of their life. It will change its shape to mimic a person's form identically and it is said that anyone who looks upon a shadow is destined to fall seriously ill or die soon thereafter.

Resist: Magic, Dialogue
Weak: Physical, Expel
Affinity: Mind, Support
A type of ghostly apparition. It usually appears as a terrifying vision and uses the fear of an individual against him, sometimes leading to death through heart failure. While specters are considered materially weak, rarely able to physically interact with the living, their power to induce fear and panic in their victims is enough for them to be considered dangerous.

Start: Chaos Wave, Elec Attack, Focus, Life Drain, Rakunda, Binding Cry
An evil Manikin that was reborn, called back into the world by the Afterlife Bell. Because of his doings in the previous life, he has gained new powers.
